Show Specials
Through show specials, you can offer discounted prices exclusively for Innovations attendees. Show specials drive business and get everyone excited to visit your booth.
You can begin submitting show specials on the Dot Foods Shop website January 26. Show specials will be due February 27. Instructions to submit show specials are available here.
Key dates:
Jan. 26: Start submitting show specials
Feb. 27: Deadline for submitting show specials
March 16: Show specials will be visible on the Dot Foods Shop website to all Dot customers.
April 23-May 4: Show specials will be available to Innovations attendees to order.
May 25-June 12: Show specials will be delivered during this timeframe.
How to Resubmit 2025 Promotions
Step 1: After January 26, click "Trade Show Promotions" at the top of the Dot Foods Shop website.
Step 2: Click IMPORT FROM PREVIOUS YEAR under "Get started quickly."
Step 3: Enter the promotion amount and select your promotion type.
Step 4: In the Promotion Recipients dropdown, select the Innovations attendees you would like to have access to your show specials.
Select “Independents Only” if you don’t want special pricing to be available to buying groups as well as US Foods and Sysco.
Step 5: Click the SUBMIT PROMOTIONS button. If you have any products included in your 2025 promotions that have been discontinued or moved to special order, you will need to update those before submitting.
Step 6: You should see a message pop up stating that your promotions have been successfully submitted. You will also receive a confirmation email.
How to Manually Submit Products (Enter Dot Item Number)
Step 1: After January 26, click "Trade Show Promotions" at the top of the Dot Foods Shop website.
Step 2: Click ADD NEW ROW and enter the Dot number. The rest of the product information will automatically populate.
Step 3: Enter the promotion amount and select your promotion type.
Step 4: In the Promotion Recipients dropdown, select the Innovations attendees you would like to have access to your show specials.
Select “Independents Only” if you don’t want special pricing to be available to buying groups as well as US Foods and Sysco.
Step 5: Click the SUBMIT PROMOTIONS button.
Step 6: You should see a message pop up stating that your promotions have been successfully submitted. You will also receive a confirmation email.
How to Manually Submit Products (From Product Catalog)
Step 1: After January 26, click "Trade Show Promotions" at the top of the Dot Foods Shop website.
Step 2: Click ADD FROM YOUR CATALOG. This will take you to a product listing page showing all your stocked products.
Step 3: To select an item to add to your promotion, click the box to the left of the image.
Step 4: Click ADD TO PROMOTION at the bottom of the page.
Step 5: You will get an alert that the promotion was added. From here, you can keep browsing your catalog or return to the promotions page.
Step 6: On the promotions page, enter the promotion amount and select your promotion type.
Step 7: In the Promotion Recipients dropdown, select the Innovations attendees you would like to have access to your show specials.

Step 8: Click the SUBMIT PROMOTIONS button.

How to Upload Spreadsheet for Show Specials
Step 1: After January 26, click "Trade Show Promotions" at the top of the Dot Foods Shop website.
Step 2: Click DOWNLOAD TEMPLATE FILE under "Get started quickly."
Step 3: In the template, fill in the Dot number, promotion type, and promotion amount of your show specials.
The promotion type must be entered as Dollars Per Case, Dollars Per Pound, or Percent.
Step 4: Save the file as a CSV.
Step 5: Click the IMPORT FROM FILE button to upload your show specials.
Step 6: Your show specials will populate onto the page. Check for any errors.
Step 7: In the Promotion Recipients dropdown, select the Innovations attendees you would like to have access to your show specials.
Select “Independents Only” if you don’t want special pricing to be available to buying groups as well as US Foods and Sysco.
Step 8: Click the SUBMIT PROMOTIONS button.
Step 9: You should see a message pop up stating that your promotions have been successfully submitted. You will also receive a confirmation email.
