What’s the difference between serving food at Trend Explorer, the Culinary Experience Lunch, and the Taste of Innovation feature?
- Trend Explorer: A booth preview event on the show floor for invited operator attendees only. Only Premium Plus and Premium exhibitors will be allowed to exhibit at this event. All other exhibitors must exit the floor during this time.
- Culinary Experience Lunch: Lunch on the main show day is served on the show floor and from within the booths of all of our Premium Plus exhibitors. Premium Plus exhibitors are required to serve “food truck sized portions” (not sample sizes) during this lunch. All attendees, including all Dot reps and all exhibitors are able to enjoy this lunch on Thursday.
- Taste of Innovation Feature: This is an optional feature selected to be a part of the exhibitor package when registering. This is an opportunity for a supplier to serve a dish at one of our networking functions off the show floor. This is a feature that must be chosen when purchasing the booth.
How long does it take to get my cold samples delivered to me once I make my appointment?
Exhibitors who wait to make appointments on the show site may have to wait up to an hour for their product to be delivered to their booth.
Can I wash dishes on the show floor?
Yes! On the show floor, Dot provides four dish washing stations with supplies and hot water. These are located on the outside of the show floor in the exhibit hall.
Can we have access to the catering kitchen at the convention center?
No. All food served on the show floor must be prepped, cooked, and served from your booth.
Can we use the kitchen cold storage to store prepped food?
No. Cold storage is only available through Heritage. You may pay for prepped food storage on a bakers rack on their cold trucks.
Where can I get culinary support for my booth on the show floor?
Dot does not provide any culinary support on the show floor. We recommend contacting local culinary schools and your local broker for assistance on the show floor.
